Spring has sprung!

And so has Japanese Knotweed...


Here are some photos of Japanese Knotweed beginning to emerge this year:



You may be able to recognise that they look a little stressed and this is likely because these shoots have been cut and had their stems removed.


In order to carry out the most effective treatment, we like to give the plant some light and give it the chance to grow into a healthy looking plant. This means that when we go to chemically treat it with an appropriate herbicide, the chemical will be absorbed into the plant's root system and kill it.
